Beijing Graphene Institute(BGI, Peking University Graphene Industrial Technology Institute)
The Beijing Graphene Institute (BGI), Beijing's first newly-established research and development institution, was inaugurated in October 2018. Supported by Peking University’s College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering and led by Academician Zhongfan Liu, BGI has a research and development team of over 320 members. The institute is dedicated to establishing itself as a leading center for graphene-based new materials research, conducting extensive research on graphene fundamentals and core industrialization technologies. BGI aims to nurture a globally leading enterprise in graphene that integrates material R&D, production, and equipment manufacturing.
